Video Spotlight

The UWG Department of Art hosts “Bitter Medicines, Sweet Poisons,” a gallery of art by Alfred Conteh, through July 14 in the Bobick Gallery, Humanities first floor lobby.

Conteh is a classically trained artist, who has practiced his craft for more than 20 years. His creative technique ranges from paintings and prints, to sculptures and three-dimensional works. As an African American artist, Conteh aspires to bring the unexplored stories of black culture to the forefront and inspire his community.

Event Spotlight

Gimme AbbeyGimme Abbey will bring the Rolling Stones and Beatles hits to Carrollton on Saturday, June 25 at the Amp in the square at 8 p.m. The tribute band will perform as part of Carrollton Main Street's 2016 Summer Concert Series.

All events held in the Amp are free.
