UWG Students Share Their Research - 24 to Attend NCUR: UWG is sending 24 students with the Honors College to the 30th annual National Conference on Undergraduate Research. The conference takes place at the University of North Carolina in Asheville, from April 7 to April 9. Of the 24 students, 18 will present their research abstracts. Read more ...

UWG Student Gains Priceless Research Experience Beginning in the Classroom: Sam McCracken recently attended the National Collegiate Honors Council Conference in Chicago. Last semester in his course Research and Methodology, Sam wrote a research exposition titled, “Partitions: Escapism and Calculated Sexuality in Min’s Red Azalea.” Read more ...

UWG Students Share Their Research: 24 to Attend NCUR

Honors Convocation Recognizes Scholastic Achievement: The 2016 Honors Convocation at the University of West Georgia’s Townsend Center recognized students from all colleges and departments for their outstanding academic achievement. Dr. Kyle Marrero, UWG president, presented the awards.

In addition to the presentation of awards, guests were entertained with a music segment including the UWG Chamber Singers, UWG Opera Workshop, a piece by clarinetist Kyle Willoughby, euphoniumists Jon Bucholz and Alex Swindle, and the UWG Theatre Company.
