The University of West Georgia College of Arts and Humanities School of the Arts presents Imagine West, a premier arts variety show that features student artists from all the major disciplines such as visual art, creative writing, film, music and theatre. This free and public event will take place on Saturday, September 13, at 7:30 p.m. at the AMP at Adamson Square in downtown Carrollton. Pre-show events start at 6 p.m.
“Each program in UWG's School of The Arts--creative writing, film, music, theatre and visual art--offers a staggering amount of events each year. Imagine West is unique among all of these events, however, in that it brings all of our programs together for a variety arts show,” says Director of the School of The Arts Dr. Chad Davidson. “What's more, the event is open to the public and absolutely free. There is simply no better time to discover what UWG's School of the Arts can do.”
This celebration of the arts is family-friendly and will include the imagination station where kids all ages can have their faces painted, participate in a drum circle and engage in numerous other art-centered activities. Be prepared for a night of music, theatre, creative writing, film and much more as UWG amps up the arts and wows the city.
