With just two home dates in the books for each UWG basketball team thus far, the UWG Athletic Department has announced a "Fast Break" for season tickets, set to begin on Monday, December 2, at various locations throughout the Carrollton area.
Demand has been high for basketball season tickets after the UWG men's team had a near-upset at the University of Alabama in early November followed by a 5-0 start for the Wolves.
"Both of our basketball teams are showing positive signs in the initial stages of the season," says Senior Associate Athletic Director Eddie Duffey. "We are excited about the many great moments that are in store for our fans for the remainder of the year."
With good seats still available in the chairback section of The Coliseum, representatives of the UWG Athletic Department will be at the Carrollton Chick-Fil-A on Highway 27 on Monday, December 2 from 11:30 a.m. until 1 p.m. in the first installment of the 2013-14 Fast Break for Season Tickets.
The second Fast Break will come on Wednesday, December 4 at Shane's Rib Shack on Bankhead Highway, as UWG Athletic representatives will be there again from 11:30 a.m.-1:00 p.m. The Fast Break will conclude on Friday, December 6, at O'Charley's on Highway 27.
The ticket blitz will come just in time for the next two home basketball games, as the UWG women take on Morris on December 6, at 5:30 p.m., followed by the men against Paine on Saturday, December 7, at 2:00 p.m.
